Count Berchtold,, the Austro-Hungnrian Foreign Minister, is sounding the Cabinets of Europe on the question of Turkey. ■ He proposes that the Powers should support Turkey's present policy of decentralisation, and adds that the various races of Macedonia should, demand such reasonable reforms ns will enable Turkey to grant them. It is believed that sneh a settlement would prepare the way, to lenniinale the Halo-Turkish War.
