A.QUESTION FOR CABINET. Reference was rando in the House of Representatives yesterday to the Customs prosecution at. Auckland on Wednesday regarding the- statuary for the Wcllingtou Post Office. Asked what, action ho intended to take in tlio matter, the Hon. W. Frascr (Minister for Public Works) stated that the question had been referred to Cabinet, and that meantime it was being dealt with by the Public Works Department. The accounts between the Department and the contractor, Mr. Fraser stated, were still open. As the matter was sub judice, ho did not care at that stage to enter into a discussion of its details.
