DELAYING NEW ZEALAND SHIPMENTS. Quite a number 'of shipments of stock from abroad for New Zealand are, it is stated, being held up by the latest outbreak of foot and mouth disease. In the ordinary course'of events, three Jersey heifers, purchased on the Island for Mr. J. G. Jlarknoss, would have been landed hero now but for tho outbreak. Latest advic'o states, that the animals arc still on tho Island, and will not bo shipped until tho present trouble is over. A shipment of Danish Hod Poll cattle for a New Zealand breeder is nlso being held up.
