V— ; The performance of "Jedbury Junior" by tho Wellington Dramatic Society on August 30, in aid of tho widows of tho lato Conductors M'Kay and Hancock, promises to bo a success. Already a largo number of tickets have been sold, and today at 5 o'clock in tho Mayor's ottice, Mrs. M'Laren has called a mooting of ladies willing to assi=t this movement. Tho box plan will bo opened at the Dresden on Wednesday morning next, when seats may be reserved. Tickets can also be had from tho following:—Mrs. D.
