- : ft n The weekly session of the Star of Newtown Lodgo 24, 1.0. G.T., was held in St. Thomas's Schoolroom on Friday evening, Bro. N. Ingram, C.T., presiding. There was a good attendance of members and i visitors. Tho item on the programme i was "Impromptu Speeches," _ which ,- brought forth some very good discussions ; on questions of the day, these including: "Would State Control of Liquor Be Beneficial," "How To Get tho Bare Majority," ; and "A.Right-to-Wol'k Bill." A few. musical items wero also given, tho foli lowing contributing :.Bros. Webb, Roberts, . Hnigli, Howitt, Price, Donaldson, and Ingram.
