Kenneth Mooro was charged at tho Police Court to-dny with the manslaughter of the Native Abraham Ngahiwi, resulting on a bare-knuckle fight at Taupiri on July 28, also with having taken part 'in a prize-fight. The evidence was substantially tho same as that given at tho inquest. Accused pleaded not guilty, and reserved his defence. He was committed for trial at tho Supreme Court at Hamilton, bail being granted in two sureties of .£IOO. One Justice remarked that "he did not look upon the case as a serious, one, being more unlucky than anything eke."'"' .'■'■>'' - : '" : '"- ; - : -'
