AN OFFICIAL RECEPTION AT AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Aeioctatlon.l Auckland, August 9. Arrangements arc being made to tender tho Prime Minister (the Hon. W. F. "\laseey) an official reception when ho carries out his stated intention of visiting Auckland next month. The chairman of tho Auckland branch of the Reform League states that a large gathering in tho Town Hall will probably be organised, with tho object of present ft largeiy-sigucd illuminated address to Mr. Massey. It is probablo that tho new Auckland post oHieo will bo opened by the Postmaster-Gen-eral (tho Hon. R. 11. Rhodes) on tho occasion of the Prime Minister's visit. In which caso both Ministers will doubtless travel north together. j
