A meeting of motorists was held at Featherston on Thursday, when it wag decided to form an association to be known as tlie 'Wairarapa Automobile Association." The following were appointed a committee to frame rules and regu-Jationsi-Mossrs. M. Klgar, A. Campbell Pearce, I. V. Wilson, G. T. Stewart, and \V. 0. Miller. Tho subscription was fixed at 10s. for owners of cars, s*. for motor cyclists, and 2s. Gd. for ordinarycyclists. Already about seventy intending members have handed in their names.' A meeting was held hero on Saturday in connection with tho proposal to combine tho various small branches of the i armors' Union into ono large branch.
