TRAMWAY PASSES.
CDEXAILING THE LIST.
The City Council last evening' decided, ' on the recommendation of the Tramways Committee, to curtail the list of free passes at present issue-1 to corporation ' Officials, and adopted tho following regulations, with respect thereto:'- .- (1) That passes be issued to the'town''"' 1 clerk, City' Engineer, Electrical Engineer, "•'■ and cliief clerk. • ' •'•■■ , (2) That all official passes, other than •''■' those issued to the undermentioned offi-" :, ' cers, be withdrawn, and that these be provided with a 6Uitablo metal badge, to be ■ produced for inspection by conductors l .— • This Traffic Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, inspectors, Superintendent of Overhead Equipment, and the Inspec- .' tor of Permanent Way. (3) That a special form of ticket Iβ 1 issued to each Department at a discount, for use by members.of the staff when on corporation business only. (4) That tho tickets issued to tramway employees, in accordance' with the agreement, be strictly limited to. two trips per dav, taking them to and from duty, The committee is now considering the question of the tramway passes issued to charitable institutions, and will report on tho matter at a later stage.
