THE STRANDED WHALE.
ITS REMOVAL ARRANGED. Within the next few days an end will in all probability bo mado of that malodorous sea-mammoth which now lies-jmt-r-il'ying on the beach near Island Bay. Mr. Thomas Eiddler, of Ngahauranga, has undertaken to remove the carcass to Ngahauranga for boiling down, and has deposited with tho Marine Department a sum of money as a guarantee that tho monster, and all traces of it, will ho removed from its present situation.
