o ANOTHER ESTATE BOUGHT,

The Hon. W. P. Moe-sey (Minister for Lands) informed a. reporter yesterday, that the Government had purchased tho Tunanui Estate in Hawke's Bay for closer settlement. The property has an area of two thousand owes and adjoins the larger Sherenden Estate, which was purchased last week. The same roading scheme will apply to both estates and they wero obtained at the same prico per acre. In announcing the ecquisvtion of the Sherenden Estate Mr. Massey stated that 80 per cent of the land was plonghablo. In the case of Tunanui he considers that the proportion of ploughablo land is somewhat -greater^
