TRAMWAY SERVICE.
NEW TIME-TABLE. The new tramways time-table of the Wellington City Council, to come into operation oil Slonday next (July 22), will be available from noon to-day. Copies may be obtained from tho conductors for una'pemiy. The chief iilt?ralion.s may be summarised under sectio-.ial headings as follow :— Island Bay and Lamblon Station. On woe!; days a 15 minutes' service between 1) a.m. and neon, and a 10 minutes' service during remainder of day, with specials at rush hours. Provision will be made in the timetable for the service to I?.- cut down to 15 minutes on wet nights after 8 p.m. On Sundays, a 10 minutes' service during afternoon and evening. Newtown. Oil weeks days, a 10 minutes' service will be maintained between Newtown and Thomdon Quay throughout the day, and during tlvs portion of tho daj J toot it is necessary to run a 5 minutes service from Newtown the additional cars will run to Lainbton Statiou, via Willis Street ami the Post Office. On Sundays the present 10 minutes' service to tho Botanical Gardens will be retained. Constable Street and Lambton Station. On week days, a 15 minutes' service oetweon il o.iii. and noon, and 10 minutes' service I'u- remainder of day, with specials between 5 and (i p.m. On wet nights the service will be reduced to 15 minutes after 8 p.m. On Sundays, a 15 minutes' service to be maintained.
Oriental Bay and Lambton Station. On week days there will be approximately a 10 minutes' service all day. On Sundays, a 12 ini'nutes' service during afternoon and evening. Wallace Street. On week days, a 10 minutes' service to be maintained to Lambton Station at rush hours, and a 12 minutes' service !o the I'ost Office during light hours of loiuliiug. On Sundays, a 12 minutes' service to and fron-. SVallace Streat. Cars to run to Post Olfico until 7 p.m., and afterwards to Town Ilall only. Aro Street. On week days, a 12 minutes' 6Eirvice to the Post Office all day, excepting that Cars will run through to Lambton Station, via Post Office, between 7 and S a.m. and 5 and G p.m., for the convenience of workers. On Sundays, the cars on this line will run to Tharndon Quay, maintaining a 15 minutes' service. Brooklyn and Post Office, On week days, with the exception of the early morning cars, which run throng!i to Lambton Station, all cars en this route will make tho Post Office their city terminus. A regular 12 minutes' service will be run, with specials at rush hours,- instead of a 10 minutes' service as at present. / On Sundays, a 12 niinutes' service to Post Office. The running of the Brooklyn and Aro Street cars will bo so arranged that a K minutes' service will bo maintained through Ujjper Willis Street dur- | ing ligbi hours ot loading.
Kilbirnie Tunnel Service. On '.reek days, the Lyall Bay cars will run to Northlands and JCarori, and the Miranur and Seatoim cars, instead cf tunning via Customhouse Quay.- will ran via Lambton Quay and Botanical Gardens during heavy hours ox loading, and to I.ainbt'jii .Station when traffic is light. Tho arrangement will provide a 7 and 8 minutes (instead of 10 minutes) service between Courteuay Place and the Botanical Gardens from 7 to !) a.m., noon (o 8 p.m., and from 10 to 11 p.m., and a 15 mi niito.s' '.service during remainder of dav.
