SENATE REBUKES MR. TAFT. (Rec. July 18, 0.15 a.mO New York, July 17. Tho Senate has adopted a resolution denouncing "any attempt by tho President to influence a vote which is within the Senate's exclusive jurisdiction. The resolution is considered as a severe rebuke on Mr. Taft for allegedly influencing Republican Senators against Senator Lorimer of Illinois, reoently unseated for corrupt practices.
