lONIC'S ARRIVAL. At daybreak to-day the Sliaw-Savill R.M.S. lonic was expected to arrive at Wellington from London, via way ports. On arrival at the latter nort on August 20 tho vessel will bo withdrawn from the intercolonial servtc.e in order to leavo tho New South Wales port on September 7 for Wellington, Tiarotonga, Papeete, and San Francisco.
TAINUI'S DEPARTURE DELATED. Instead of leaving Wellington for London, via way ports, at 3 p.m. to-day (as scheduled), It.M.S. Tainui will not getaway until 6 a.m. to-morrow.
