DREADNOUGHT "NEW ZEALAND."
GIFTS TO BE TRANSFERRED. A movement is afoot to have tlio giffa, presented by New Zealand Navy Leaguers' to tho battleship New Zealand (now Zea-'J 1 audi a) transferred (o the Dreadnought' New Zealand. A request from the mittco, which inaugurated the shilling! collection by which rho funds went raised, 1 has been forwarded to tho Minister for 1 Internal Affaire that ho should advise tho Admiralty of the committco's wish in this Mr. J. Craigie, member for Timnru, who was the originator of tho' scheme, and who has been acting for tho committee, states that ho is strongly o£ opinion that tho gifts should bo trans-' ferred to tho now Bhip, and ho especially hopes that tho gifts will be on board when tho New Zealand Dreadnought visits' our shores. Mr. Craigio has been advised that tho Minister will convey tho wisherf of tlio committee to tho Admiralty.
