Palmerston Wedding. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the residence of Mrs. Donald, East Street, Palmerston North, on July 2, when Mr. W. A. Bain, youngest son of the late Mr. Bain, of Edinburgh, was married to Miss Isabella H. Johnston, youngest daughter of Mr.< and Mrs. Johnston, Gardners Crescent, also cf Edinburgh. The Rev. A. At St. Mark's Anglican Church, Kaponga, ou Thursday, July I, Miss Grace May Solley, was married to Mr. Anguste .Charles Voullaire, of Biverlea, tho Rev. G. W. Dent, of Eltham, officiating. The bride, woro a charming dress of white crepe de chine trimmed with lace and silk fringe. The Misses Synies and Voullaire were attired in bridesmaids frocks of palo blue ninon, finished with Oriental embroidery, and -Miss Mary O'Neil and Miss Eileen Gargan attended as flowergirls. Messrs: Dempsey and Ralph Voullaire acred* as best man and groomsman. The bridegroom's prosent to the- brido was a handsome gold muff chain, and to the bridesmaids pearl and amethyst brooches. Robert Grierson, was attended by three bridesmaids, tho Misses Thelma 'Bloomfield, Una, Buddie, and Ethel Grierson. Mr. Wickham, of Wellington, acted as best man, the groomsman being Mr. Desmond Kettle nnd Dr. Milsom. The ceremony was performed by Canon MacMurray, assisted by the Rev.
