RECIPROCAL STOCK TRAINS.
THE PALMERSTON-WAIKATO PROPOSAL. Correspondence in reference to the proposed recinrocal special stock trains to the Palmerstou North, AVaikato, and Auckland shows was read at tho last meeting of the Wnikato A. and P. Assosiation. It was decided to point out to the Manawatu A. ami P. Association that their proposal would probably end in failure, us it depended upon the patronage whether the trains were continued in the future. It was pointed out that Palmerston stock coidd be taken to the Waikato bv the same train which brought Waikato stock home, and that tho stockcould be exhibited at Waikato and be taken on to Auckland if desired, being paddocked free at Hamilton in the inter-
