Auckland, July 1. A meeting of Waihi minora ,in tho Opera Houto on Sunday was addressed by Messrs. Parry ami M'Lennan. A resolution Has passed, denying that they had left AVailn because tht-y were opposed to the strike, and pledging thenitelves to do all iu their power to ensure victory at \Vaihi and Reofton. There are about ninnty ex-Waihi miners employed in Auckland. Messrs. Parry and M'Lennan addressed a hrgo meeting of sympathisers with tho strike in the Opera House last night. 2lr. Jl'Lonnan said he estimated that nino or (en hundred men had already left Waihi out of a population of six thousand. A resolution was passed, expressing a bolief in the justice of the cause for which the miners wero fighting at E-eefton and Waihi, tho principles of bona-fide unionism, which were at stake, and pledging those present to give every assistance to ensuro a speedy victory.

Four sliift bosses -.would not go on. A shift boss with certificates took the engines.At noon all hands employed on the -Energetic ,and Wealth of Nations battery then wont off duty, arriving at Reefton n! 1 p.m. The men aro very reticent.
