NEW ZEALAND AGRICULTURE.
In taking "New Zealand Agriculture'' as tho subject for the lecture he is to deliver in the Town Hall next Tuesday cvcnin?, in aid of the funds of the Boys' Institute, the Prime Minister, tho Hon. T. Mackenzie, will deal with a matter he has very much at- heart. _ He will speak of the splendid work in nationbuilding done by the men who laid tho foundations of New Zealand agriculture. How a British colony established one of the most progressive farming countries in the world in a land covered with forests, scrub and fern in the span of « human life, is an interesting story. Tho records of this fine achievement are meagre, but enough is known of it to make np a narrative which should appeal to New ZcaItinders in general. Phrases of the advanced agriculture of the present day will bo illustrated by moving pictures, which will also demct. afforestation work, our woollen industry and some of the vast reserve-; of water power in tho Dominion. Judging by (he way tho tickets are going off there should be a large audience.
