The report of the State Statistician shows that the manufactories and works in New South Wales number 5013, an increase of 220 on the figures for the previous year. The omployee3 number 108,777, an increase of 9031. Males employed total 82,258, an increase of CB3D, and females 20,519, an increase of 2192. Wages totalled J210,044,494, an increase of £1,353,108.
