STEAMER GOES OVER DAM.
BOILERS BLOW UP. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Montreal, May 28. The river steamer- Mildred missed tho locks in tho canalised portion of tho Lievrc River, and went over a dam backwards. The crew leaped into the water and escaped, There were no passengers. The boilers of the steamer blew up and tho craft floated in fragments down the river.
