A sensational delxtto took place in tho Union Assembly on tho Loader of tho Opposition, Sir Thomas Smartt, commenting: that Mr. Hull's and Mr. Sailer's statements regarding their differences in the Cabinet wero diametrically opposed. Ho asked tho Primo Minister, General Both'a, which was true. General Botha said he regretted that Cabinet differences should be discussed in public. It was true that Cabinet had been insufficiently consulted on railway matters by Mr. Sauer, whiile holding that portfolio. General Hertzogf Minister for Education,.said Ministers sympathised with Mr. Hull, but it was unfair to blaino Mr. Saner for the difficulties which bad arisen through the Railway Board. Tho Assembly, by GG votes to 3D, refused to/adjourn.
