a. TO CONSIDER DOMINION AWARD. Tlio whole of the master bakers of New Zealand liavo been summoned _ txj attend a conference to bo held in Wellington 011 Thursday next in connection' with Ilia movement on the part of Ul9 New Zealand Federated Rakers' Unioiii. last month Judge Sim, of tho Arbitration Court, intimated to Mr. Wilson, secretary of the union (employees) that he would grant a hearing lis Wellington shortly with tho view of framing a Dominion award for the trade. As in this industry tho conditions nro different in the various centres, the Master Bakers' Federation (of which Mr. H. F. Allen is secretary) considered that it would ba. ndvissblc for members throughout Xevr, Zealand to meet in conference for tha' purpose of discussing the position. Mr. W. I'rj-or (secretary of the Now Zealand; Employers' Association) will conduct the case iii tho Arbitration Court.. tor ths master bakers.
