TRENTHAM CAMP.
Those Territorials who were nnable to attend the general camp held at Easter by the sth Regiment went into camp on Saturday last. Some went out in the morning and the rest in the afternoon. They left town in the pouring, rain, passing unfavourable remarks about the weather, but were agreeably surnrisecl when they found that it was quite, fine at Trentham and had not rained after 8 in the morning. They were thus able to get into quarters without tho drenching which they had anticipated. All told they will muster about 100 strong and will be commanded by Captain H. M. W. Richardson, N.Z.S.C., adjutant of the sth Rpgiment. Enough to make a full company they will have practically the same training as was carried out at the large camp with the exception of a little battalion drill. They v.-ill b? in camp for coven davs as is laid down in the regulations. Tliis is the last camp to be held in this district before the end of the defence tea!".
