HAWERA WINTER SHOW.
The butter and cheese exhibits at the Hawera Winter Show are of cspecial interest in a district like Taranaki, where tho industry has reached such large proportions. It must be highly encouraging to the directors of the Winter Show Company to know that their efforts in stimulating competition is meeting with such marked success. The entries in the cheese section are more than double those of last year, whilo there is also an increase in the butter class; The figures for the two years are as follow:— 1911. 1912. Huttcr 51 60 Cheese 4S 99 The secretary, Mr. A. M. Conroy, states that inquiries for space are coming to Irjnd freely, so that indications point to the 1912 show being even more successful than its predecessors.
