MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
A benefit concert was given at the Missions to Seamen this week in aid of the widows and children of the seamen who lost thoir lives by tho loss of the Titanic. The Mayor presided. Tho programme was provided by Madumo Mueller, tho following contributing:—Songs. Misses G. Watkins, A. Jennings, V. Mueller, Madame Mueller, and Mrs. A. M. Willis; recitation, Mrs. Sutclilfe; musical monologue, Mr. Rankin. During the evening a presentation of.the Royal Humane [society's certificate and • medal was made to Mr. Jurriss for bravery shown in stopping runaway hoTses, thereby averting u/prions accident.
