STEADY DEVELOPMENT OF TRADE. (By Tclcjrrapb.—Press Association.) Auckland, May 9. Tho increasing popularity of tho Vancouver mail service is shown by tho fact that the Makura, sailing for Vancouver to-morrow takes a full complement of passengers, about 110 of whom will join tho vessel here. Tho demand for New Zealand produce in Canada is also steadily increasing, and the Makura takes 1500 boxes of butter, and large lines of onions, hides, frozen fish, etc.
