The Central Harriers Club held their weekly risi yesterday from Karori Tea Rooms as the. guests of the secretary, Mr. C. Hough. Prior to the run. a sfeneral meeting of the club was held tor the purjio-e of electing a captain, Jlr. J. Don having resigned. Mr. G. A. Scott was elected. The run covered about nine miles of good harrier (.■omitrv. A handicap run-in of filll) yards resulted in iV win for C". Duck, with S. Myers and ('. lloiish second and third. Alter tea tho newly-elected captain (hanked Jlr. Koimh for his liuspitiilily. Tin l usie mile and a half maiden race will lie contested next week at Minimal , .
