A tramcar conductor saw him running and signalling wildly, but the car did not stop because it was not tlio usual halting-place. "Bill" finally shot Blanehet. Foresters and soldiers aro surrounding the forest of Hay, where it is believed "Bill" is hiding. fEenert was an Anarchist member of Bonnot's gang, who with his wife was arrested for sheltering members of the sang.]
