POISONING PAUPERS.
GERMAN CHEMIST SENTENCED. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. Berlin, May 5, In January last a chemist was arrested for supplying paupers with a drink composed of two parts of methylated spirits and one part of .schnapps. He lias been tried and found guilty, and sentenced to live years' imprisonment. Two other persons charged were each sentenced to two months' imprisonment. A publican also charged was nrriuitlcd.
