GREEN ISLAND STRIKE
LABOUR FEDERATION CALLED IN. (By Telegraph—Press Aeeoolatlcm.) Dunedin, May 6. The position with regard to tho disputo at Christie's mine at Green Island has not improved. The men have arranged to get thoir tools from tho mine to-morrow morning, and the matters in dispute have been referred by them to tho Federation of Labour. Mr. Webb (president of tho Federation) is expected to arrive by the first express from the north to-morrow.
