KING'S BIRTHDAY.

BIG PARADE IN WELLINGTON, Tho birthday anniversary of his Majesty King George V will bo celebrated in Wellington by a ceremonial review and march of the coast defence troops, to bo held probably at Newtovn Park. As this will b<? the first official public parade of Wellington troops enrolled and trained under the new defence scheme, the turn out should be a very interesting one, as probably over 3000 men will muster. The troops taking part in the parado will include: The Royal New Zealand Artillery, tho Territorial Garrison Artillery, the Wellington Mountain Battery, with trims and mule teams, the Wellington Company of Field Engineers, the Fifth' New Zealani Infantry Regiment, Signal Corps, Ambulance Corps, and about 20 companies of Senior Cadets, There will be a. ceremonial i£spe:tion, probably by his Excellency the Governor, and tho members of the General Staff at Headquarters, followed by a march past.
