The- Norwegian Consul is in receipt of information statins that four whaling steamers, viz.—Hawk, Eagle, Whangarei, and Whangaroa—passed through Suez on April 12 on their way to New Zealand. The sailing vessel Prince George left Norway for Russell on March 7, and the steamer Rakiura for Westport, via Port Natal, on April i. Thus the whole fleet belonging to one of the companies recently formed by Neilsen and Co., Larvig, Norway, to exploit the whaling industry in New Zealand waters, are well on their way, and operations ore expected to comtnenco early in Juno. ,
