RECORDS OF USEFUL WORK. The annual combined meeting of those interested in the ivork of the Wellington Ladies' Christian Association, the Levin Memorial Homo, and the Alexandra Homo was held in St. John's Sunday Schoolroom yesterday afternoon, the Rev. New garments made by tho luul numbered IS7; garments , out out, 1167; uoeived from-friends and tho Two-Garment: Society, 48 new and 305 M-'cond-hnnd; distributed new garjnenls, ; .second-hand, '116; material bought, J«)l yards of flannel; flannelette, 300 yards; calico, -178 yards; sheeting, 131 yards; shirting, So yards; galatea, iJO yards; print, 8? yards; drill, 42 vards; total, 153-1 yards of material. The latter had visited Wentv maternity cases uitside the home, a fee ol 4:1 beini? received in each of these. J'our of these who had left the home took their infants with them to their parents' homes. Uno took her child with her to a country situation, one has been adopted, and ibi rem,under have placed their children in duly licensed koines. One marriage has been performed in the home. The statistics for the year showed that, on March 31, there were 12 adults and 10 infants in the home; admitted to tho homo during the year, married women and 23 single women; discharged, il adults and 25 infants; births, 2G. Jn Ihe home on March 31, 1012, there were 11 adults and 5 infants. Thanks were due to Dr. Jlardwicke Smith and Dr. Woodhouse for their services, and also to thoso who had sent provisions, clothing, etc.; to Messrs. Weston and Izard for professional services.

lhe eighteenth annual report of the Lpvmi Memorial Ifomc stated that troubles had l)ooii experienced on account of an outbreak of measles ami mumps among the younger children. Six children havo been adnntto:! during (ho year, and fivo had 1011, leaving a total of 2G in the home at present. A heavy outlnv had boon incurred during the year for much-needed repairs and refurnishing*. ,Small weekly payments (according to the circumstances of the children's relatives) had been made by some, and no payment had been recuivt'd tor others. Thanks "were due to Mr. JToby for hi? professional services; to r - Kemp, physician to the home; for the clothing of oim of the children l.iv some of the girls of Miss Habor's school, and fur the weekly lish dinner from Messrs Ilurcombo.
