MUNICIPAL ORCHESTRA.
Sir,—l notice your conimcnt 011 the many vacant seats at last night's conI cort; perhaps you might point, out to the committee it would be advisablo _t;I make the charge in future 6d. downstairs and Is. upstairs, as I noticed the Gd. Feats were fairly well lilled. It would surely bo moro gratifying to the porformors and conductors to play to a full house than to empty chairs, and might in time induce a larger, audieneo to benefit by those excellent performances. Financially, I think, it would also benefit the management.—l am, etc., A WELL-WISHER. Wellington, March 27.
