MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

♦- There was a crowded audience at tho Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, when Mr. Nicolls, secretary of tho Harbour Board, provided a very enjoyable concert. Songs by the Misses Kennedy, Newton (2), Mr. Parson's, Mr. J. Newton, Mr. A. Nenton. recitations by Mr. Nicolls, duets by Miss Newton and Mrs. Ronnie, violin duets by the Misses Kennedy, instrumental trios by the Misses Newton and Kennedy, glees by the concert party made up a programme which was nighly appreciated. An amusing conundrum competition was won by seamen from vessels in port. Mr. F. S. Shell presided, and gave a short temperance address. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr. Nicolls and the performers.
