HUTT AND PETONE NEWS.

(By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) 4 An accident occurred on the Hutt Road between Ngahauranga and Pctone at 6.30 on Tuesday evening. Two lorries, owned by Messrs.' M'Eiten and Carter,' wero coming from Wellington, 'when a motor car, travelling in the oppbsito direction, with two men and two ladies in it, collided with the foremost lorry, and Was overturned.' The occupants of tho motor car were-thrown to the ground. Ono lady was cut about the head, and the other three passengers had minor injuries. Medical aid was summoned.
