4 — MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of tho Wellington Harbour Board was held last night. Mr. H. Fletcher presided, and there were present, also: Messrs. C. IV. Jones, ,T. Trevor, .1. E. i-'ilxgerald, J. G. Cable, A. M'FarInue. .1. (-•. Harkness, C. E. Daniel, and M. Cohen.• It was reported that the current account was .Ki2,'l!)2 in credit; the imprest account JM2IM in credit;; and that there was .C7O odd on lixed deposit. ■ The chairman reported that tho dredge Whnkarirc hail been placed on the patent slip for her annual overhaul, niul .had been found to have sustained no injury to her hull during the period of her charter to the Napier Harbour Hoard. It was decided to grant permission to tho Wellington Patent Slip Company, Ltd., to lay down a buoy and moorings in Evans Bay in the vicinity of the company's new wharf. The board'.- solicitors forwarded an agreement, for the sale of the lea=e of part of Lot 20, Grainger Street, from .Messrs. George and liersley, Ltd., to the New ZoaUtud Federation of t.abuiti-, f.iid advised that the document was a proper one to coo'-'iMit 10.
