A committee ■ meeting of the N«ivy League was held in the Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon, Mr. J. Le Grove, presiding. The minutes- of the last meeting were read and confirmed • and accounts were pass3(l for payment. On behalf of the Local Executive Committee, the secretary, Mr. C'W. Palmer, stated that he had forwarded a letter of congratulation to the naval Comman-der-in-Chief, at llobart, regarding the results of the annual gunnery praotico results attained by the Australian Squadron. It may be mentioned that Australia is now top of the list. As nothing is yet known as to when the new flagship— H.M.S.
