A partv from Palmerston. comprising Messrs.. W. Park, P. Black, H. Hepworth, A. Tiley, A. Koe, A. Hillens. A\'. Kickard, and Whittalcer, left Palmerston by the Main Trunk express to-day en route to the National Park, whore they intend to spend a week's holiday. The time will be occupied in mountain-climb-ing (including the as-jent of llunpehu, Xgauruhoe, and Tongariro),, botanising, and a general exploration of the country.
