PALMERSTON RAM FAIR.

(By Telesraph-Press Association.) Palmerston, February 27. The Palmerston North ram fair was held to-day under the auspices of tho Manawatu A. and P. Association. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and bidding for the better classes of sheep was brisk. The total yarding was 1558 head. Ronineys were represented by 39 stud rams, and 9GB flock rams; Lincolns by eight stud and 338 flock rams; flock Southdowns by 235. The Ronineys were offered to-day. Mr. T. M'Kenzie topped the prices for stud Ronineys with 13ghs., and Mr. Max Voss, of Karere, for the fourth year in succession, topped the price of flock Ronineys with 15gns. The,fair will be continued to-morrow.
