COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' CLUB.

« Tho annual general meeting of the Wellington Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association was held in the Victoria Street club rooms on Thursday evening. Mr. 11. C. Tewsley, the chair man, ouliined the business of the association for the past twelve months, and complimented the club upon the general results. The financial outlook and bal-ance-sheet for the coining l year was then dealt with, and the balance-sheet adopted. Considerable discussion ensued in regard to the mortuary benefit and relief fund which resulted on these funds being placed upon a. very strong basis. The following officers for the coming year were elected:—President, Mr. 11. C. Tewsley; committee, Messrs. Witt. Samuel Tiirnbull, Phelps, Wilson, Croll, Hensiwool, and Coulf.
