Mr. P. Powell, who has been town clerk here for the past three months, is resigning his position next month with tho intention of removing to Canada. Tho Town Board proposes to install several additional street lamps in tlio township, and will ask the ratepayers to sanction a loan of-,£200 for that purpose.
