CARTERTON SHOW CHEESE.

A VICTORY FOE BELVEDERE.

The reports op. the cheese exhibited at the Wair.uapa and East Coast P. and A. Society's show in October last, and graded and judged in London, were received at the. last .meeting of the society, the re(iiilt being a win for the Belvedere Dairy Factory, which scored 111 points, Woodville Dairy l'\ictory with 93 points being, second, and Pnrkvnls Dairy l'actory with 02 points third. The cheese was shipped Home through the National Dairy Association, who have received the following letter iron. Messrs. Andrew, Clement, and Sous, Ltd., Lonuo.il:—

We have pleasure in reporting on the eighteen crates of cheese which were exhibited at Wairar.ipa show, and shipped per s.s. .'.nnic. viz. :—

; 19111, Belvedere, Ut.-Cl.r-e-ciitting, clean in flavour, silky texture, handsome in appearance. The best parcel, n< our opinion, out of the eight; !W poinls.

105J, Woo.lville. 2nd.—Close-cutting, clean flavour, good texture. (Would be better if more silky.) Vnry good cheese, in our opinion tho second best parcel; 9:t points.

1050, Parkvale, 3rd.—Good colour, fairlv clean in flavour, close-cutting, solid, welimade cheese; T2 points. 1047, Da(efie.ld.—Fairly clean in flavour, slightly open in make, firm, solid eheew; f>l points.

1051, Tararna.—Fairly clean in flavour, tat. open in make; 00 points. 1053. ficxdaUv-Fairly clean in flavour, slijrlirly open in iiinke; M point?. 10!S, Grpj-town.—Flavour slightly weedy open . texture, due . to' fermentation- 69 points.

1019, Mangarnma.— Favrly clean in flavour, loose texture, biul'lv packed; SS points. . *
