TEACHERS' CONVENTION.
'l*lie eighth annual meeting of Hie. Primitive Methodist Sunday School Teachers' Convention was held in the Webb Street .Schoolroom Inst rvouiug. The chair was occupied by the president, Mr. I!. I)a»vion. The topic for the evening was "Encouraging Children In Attend the Morning Service." In Hie unavoidable absence of the Rev. 11. Cottoni. n paper was read by tho Tiev. AV. S. Putter. In the course of his remarks, Mr. Totter referred to the scanty attendance of Sunday School children at Divine worship, nnd deplored the lack nl parental influence in inducing Hip children to attend. At the close of an instructive paper a very interesting discussion ensued, and a vole of lliniiks was accorded Mr. Potter.
