BOARD APPOINTS A MANAGER. Br Teleerapn—Presi Agj^otati^o-OoovTic** Sydney, February 3. Clem Hill wag present at the meeting of the Board of Control, when a manager was appointed. Seen afterwards Hill had nothing to say as to the board's action in appointing a. manager. This is taken as an indication that the dissatisfied players will not press their protest, and will be available for selection. They are to be given ten days to decide. It is further decided that if the players also appoint a manager, his salary of MOO and expenses are to be charged against the expenses of the tour. The meeting approved the fixtures for the English tour.
