Regarding the dispute over the interview between ex-King Manuel and Dora Miguel, it is authoritatively'.stated that after the failure of the Conceirps raid Dnm Miguel offered to recognise ex-King Manuel as the legitimate king if the latter recognised the Dom Miguel branch as a collateral with rights of succession. Tho offer was accepted and the.interview confirmed the arrangement.
