ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
A committee meeting of the St. John Ambulance Association was held . last night, Mr. C. P. Powlcs presiding. It was reported that the total collections for Ambulance Saturday were XljlO Us. 5d., ■ and the expenses JE7 .os. 3d., leaving a net profit of £123 lls. 2d. The treasurer reported' that the bank balance showed a credit of .CHO. It was decided that the assistant commissioner (Mr. Seed) should report en the question of stretchers at tho next meeting . It was decided to report to the Home authorities tho case of Miss.Jane _M Williams, agcil fourteen years, who m cepteinber fast, at great personal rescued a four-year-old child from a burning building" at Miramar..
