The promoters state that excellent entries have been received, and they add that the event is conceded to be one of the best of its kind of the season. Among the competitors will bo Pu»h, who competed against Hill, the Auckland crack, in the mile and three-mile runs on tho occasion of the Australasian Championships. M'Kay (pole-vaulter) will be out, as well as a number of runners of somo note. The management undertake that events will be conducted promptly to time.
