FERRY TROUBLE SETTLED.

SETTLEMENT BASIS. Last evening the representatives from both sides in the harbour ferries' dispute met, and shortly before eleven o'clock the coufereuce ciosed, and an agreement satisfactory to both parties was arrived at. It is understood that the ferry workers have received some concessions, one being that; instead of working seven days per week as at present, six days, with ono day off (not necessarily Sunday), have been substituted. The rate of wages remains practically as at present, but there is an increase in the matter of men working coal. The agreement will bo drawn up and signed to-day.
